View and manage app permissions for Meta Quest
Privacy indicator lets you know when certain privacy related features are currently in use—and which of the apps in your library are currently using them. That includes your microphone, location, spatial data, eye tracking (for Quest Pro only), and Natural Facial Expressions (for Quest Pro only).
View permissions in use
The real-time indicator in Navigator, above Quick controls, shows a purple icon Notification every time an installed app accesses a permission. Permissions that are actively in use or have been recently used in the last 30 seconds will be shown there, as well as in Quick Settings menu.
To view the permissions in use by an app:
- Press
Meta button /
Oculus button on your controller to open the universal menu.
- Select the clock on the left side of the universal menu to open Quick settings.
- At the top, next to the
