Manage apps and games in your Meta Quest library

There are three ways to manage the apps and games in the Meta Horizon app library:
- Hide: Hiding an app or game keeps it installed on your device, but removes it from the default Library view. To view hidden apps, select the Hidden filter from the dropdown at the top-right of the app library.
- Uninstall: Uninstalling an app or game will remove it from your device and free up any storage space it was using. Its icon will remain in your app library, and it can be reinstalled by selecting the icon.
- Uninstall and remove: Uninstalling and removing an app or game will remove it from your device and free up any storage space it was using, as well as removing the icon from your app library. To reinstall the app or game, visit the Meta Store.
Any app, game or shortcut can be managed in this way, with the exception of certain Meta apps that come pre-installed on your headset.
Hide, uninstall or remove an app
- Press
Meta button or
Oculus button on your right Touch controller to open the Navigator.
- Select
App library.
- Find and then hover over the app that you want to manage.
- Select
Options.
- To remove an app, select Remove and then either Uninstall or Uninstall and remove, depending on your preference.
- To hide an app, select Hide.
