Safe browsing with Browser on Meta Quest

This feature is powered by Google Safe Browsing. When enabled, it may protect users from visiting websites that are suspected to be potentially dangerous. This includes websites that may trick users into installing unwanted software or revealing personal information.
Enabling safe browsing doesn’t guarantee identification and prevention of all dangerous websites. Some risky sites may not be identified, and some safe websites may be identified in error. You can learn more about harmful web content, social engineering (phishing) and unwanted software by reviewing the informational websites for social engineering warnings, malware warnings and unwanted software warnings.
To enable safe browsing in Browser:
- Press
Meta button or
Oculus button on your right Touch controller to open the universal menu.
- Select
Browser from the app library.
- Select
Options in the upper right.
- Select Settings.
- Select Privacy and Security from the left menu.
- Select the toggle next to Enable safe browsing to turn this feature on.
