How to create your avatar on Meta Quest

You can create an avatar for your Meta profile using your Meta Quest and Meta Horizon mobile app. Your avatar is public and can be viewed wherever you use your Meta Horizon profile. If your accounts are synced between Meta Quest and other Meta apps like Instagram or Facebook, your avatar and your avatar’s items will be available to you across those platforms. You can manage your sync settings in Accounts Center.

To create your avatar:

  1. Press Meta button / Oculus button on your controller to open the universal menu.
  2. Select your profile photo, then select Create Avatar.
  3. Follow the on-screen steps to continue customizing your avatar.
  4. When you're finished, Save and continue to complete creating your avatar.
