People joining a Zoom video call in VR will need to connect to the video call manually from the VR workroom. People in VR will not be able to speak to or see people on video until they have done this. If you join a meeting on video and are expecting to see participants in VR, send them a message and remind them to dial into the meeting from the workroom.

You can join a Zoom meeting in Workrooms on video using a computer, or mobile device, or in VR. If you connect your Google or Outlook calendar to Workrooms, you can also view and manage any existing Zoom events you have created or been invited to.

You don’t need a Zoom One Pro plan to connect your Zoom account with Workrooms and join a meeting in order to join a Zoom meeting — and any event on a connected Google or Outlook calendar that contains a Zoom invite link will be joinable using Workrooms. However, you cannot join a Zoom meeting that isn’t attached to a calendar event.

To join a Zoom video meeting in Workrooms

You can either:

Use the Workrooms web app and join via the internal calendar if you have Zoom connected
Use the Workrooms web app and join via your Google or Outlook calendar if you have either of them connected

To join a Zoom meeting in Workrooms VR

From your Meta Quest headset, open the Workrooms app.
From your Workrooms personal office (the private virtual office space you enter when you open the Workrooms VR app on your device), select Office from your desk menu, then select the Today tab.
Select your upcoming Zoom meeting. This will launch the room the meeting is scheduled in.

When you join a Zoom meeting in VR, you will see any VR participants in the virtual room with you, and see any Zoom video participants on the video screen.

Create Zoom meetings in Workrooms

If you want to create and host Zoom meetings in Workrooms, you’ll need to:

Ensure you have a Zoom One Plan of Pro or higher.
- You can check your account plan in your Zoom web portal. If you have a Zoom Business account, contact your account admin to confirm your plan.
Connect your Zoom account to your Workrooms account using the Workrooms web app .
- From the Workrooms web app, click the Profile icon in the top left corner.
- Click Settings, then click Apps and Integrations.
- Click Connect and sign in to your Zoom account.
To enable your Zoom meetings to be joinable in VR, make sure the following Zoom settings are correct:
- - Livestreaming of meetings must be enabled
  - Allow participants to join at anytime must be enabled
  - Passcode must be enabled
  - Waiting Room must be disabled
  - Registration must be disabled
  - Require authentication to join must be disabled
  - Automatically record meeting must be disabled
- You can edit these at any time from your Zoom account settings, but changes may prevent you from joining your Zoom meeting in Workrooms. If you're on a Zoom Business account, please contact your admin to enable these changes for you.
- Note: Livestreaming of meetings allows Zoom to connect to the VR room and stream the Zoom meeting in the VR room. It doesn't broadcast live or cast a feed publicly.

Once you have connected your Zoom account, there are 3 ways to schedule Zoom meetings using the Workrooms web app.

Schedule Zoom meetings from your Workrooms calendar
1. From the Workrooms web app, click + New meeting.
2. Schedule your meeting as usual and select Zoom from the Video dropdown menu.
Add a Zoom link you created to an existing Workrooms meeting
1. Schedule a Zoom meeting from your Zoom account.
2. From the Workrooms web app, click +New meeting or from your Workrooms calendar.
3. Copy and paste the Zoom meeting link you created into the meeting description.
4. - Note: This will only work if you personally created the Zoom meeting link.
Add a Workrooms room to an existing Zoom meeting
1. Connect your Google or Outlook calendar to Workrooms. This will sync all your meetings from Google or Outlook to Workrooms calendar, including any Zoom meetings.
2. From your Workrooms calendar, click on the Zoom meeting you want to enable for VR, then click Add room.
3. - You can either add an existing room, or create a new room, and add people to the room, if needed.

Connect a different Zoom account to your Workrooms account

You can only have one Zoom account connected to your Workrooms account at a time. If you want to change the Zoom account that’s connected to your Workrooms account, you can disconnect the current Zoom account and then connect a different one.

To change the Zoom account connected to your Workrooms account:

From your Zoom account:
1. Sign out of Zoom.
2. Sign in to Zoom with the email address your prefer to use.
From the Workrooms web app:
1. Click your name in the bottom left.
2. Click Settings, then click Apps and Integrations.
3. Click Disconnect Zoom.
4. Click Connect Zoom and sign in using your preferred Zoom account.

Disconnect your Zoom account from your Workrooms account

If you no longer wish to have your Zoom account connected to your Workrooms account, you can disconnect them from the Workrooms web app.

To disconnect your Zoom account from your Workrooms account:

From the Workrooms web app, click your name in the bottom left.
Click Settings, then click Apps and Integrations.
Click Disconnect Zoom.
