How to remove followers on Meta Quest

You can remove followers at any time. Removing a follower isn't a permanent process, so the person can request to follow you again.
If you don't want someone to follow you, you can block them.
When you remove a follower, they aren't notified that you've removed them.
To remove a follower using the Meta Horizon mobile app:
- Open the Meta Horizon mobile app on your phone.
- Tap
in the top right.
- Tap Contacts, then tap the follower you want to remove.
- Tap their avatar picture, then tap
.
- Tap Remove, then tap Remove again to confirm.
To remove a follower using your Meta Quest headset:
- Press
/
on your right Touch controller to pull up your universal menu.
- Select Chats.
- Select Followers.
- Select
- Select Remove, then select Remove again to confirm.
Note: If you’re 10-12 years old (age may vary by region) with a Meta account that's managed by your parent or guardian and you remove a follower who is an approved contact, the person will no longer be an approved contact. This means they can no longer chat with, call, invite or join you in an app or destination.
