Refunds for apps and games purchased on Meta Horizon Store
You can request a digital refund for apps and games you purchased on Meta Horizon Store. You can request a refund on this page, on meta.com, in the Meta Horizon mobile app and in your headset.
Eligibility and timing
You may be eligible for a digital refund if you:
- Requested a refund within 14 days of purchase, and
- Played the content for less than 2 hours.
You won’t be able to access the content while we process your request. It takes 5-7 business days to review, verify and process refund requests. Previously refunded content, in-app purchases and subscriptions can't be refunded. Learn how to cancel a subscription.
If your refund is approved, we’ll credit your original payment method. For faster refunds, you can also choose to receive your refund in Quest cash.

Refunds for purchases made for a child's Meta account
If you’re a parent or guardian and want to request a refund for an app or game that you purchased for your child’s Meta account, you'll need to first access your child's account, then follow the steps below to request a refund. To access your child's account, log in using your information, then continue as your child. All refund terms and conditions apply.

Other refund methods
You can request a refund on meta.com, in the Meta Horizon mobile app and in your headset.
- Go to this page.
- Select a reason for your request, then select Game or app refunds.
- Select the app or game you want to refund, then select Continue.
- Select a reason for requesting a refund, then select Continue.
- Select how you'd like to get your refund, then select Continue.
- Select Request refund to complete your request.
Check refund status
You can check your refund status on meta.com and in the Meta Horizon mobile app.
- Go to this page to view app or game purchases from the last 3 months.
- If you don't see the app or game you returned, then change the Ordered filter in the top right from Last 3 months to Anytime.
If you haven't received your refund within 7 business days from the day your refund was approved, we recommend that you contact your payment provider for help.
