We recommend regularly cleaning your headset’s facial interface.
To clean the facial interface on your Meta Quest 3:
- Remove the facial interface from the device by gently pulling it away from the headset.
- Use a dry microfiber cloth to remove any surface debris. Hand wash with cool water and a mild liquid detergent. Do not submerge the facial interface.
- Do not use chemical cleansers.
- Do not use alcohol.
- Rinse thoroughly to remove any soap residue.
- Allow to air dry fully before reinstalling.
- Reinstall your facial interface by snapping it back into the headset.

If you're experiencing discomfort with the facial interface, consider playing for shorter periods. You may also want to consider an alternative material like a silicone facial interface or silicone cover.
