With a monthly or annual subscription to Meta Horizon+, you will receive access to two apps selected by Meta each month. You can redeem these apps during the month in which they are offered. Once claimed, they will be available in your Library as long as you are subscribed to Meta Horizon+.

You will also receive access to a catalog of apps curated by Meta. These apps will change over time as new apps are added and other apps leave the catalog. You don’t need to claim these apps and they’re available to play as long as they’re in the catalog and you are subscribed.

Meta Horizon+ also includes access to a starter edition of XBOX Game Pass. To use XBOX Game Pass, you need to link your Meta account to a Microsoft account. You can access a library of 50+ console and PC games, download them to play locally or stream with cloud gaming.

How to subscribe to Meta Horizon+

In order to subscribe to Meta Horizon+, your Meta account must have a listed age of 13+. Accounts must have a listed age of 14+ if you reside in Canada, South Korea, Spain, or Quebec (eligibility restrictions apply, see terms).

To subscribe to Meta Horizon+ from your headset:

  1. Press Meta button or Oculus button on your right controller to open the Navigator.
  2. Select Meta Horizon Store.
  3. Select Horizon+.
  4. Select Start 1-month trial.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to subscribe to Meta Horizon+.

To subscribe to Meta Horizon+ from the Meta Horizon mobile app:

  1. On your phone, open the Meta Horizon app.
  2. Tap Menu.
  3. Scroll down and tap Horizon+ below Payment and subscriptions.
  4. Tap Start 1-month trial.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to subscribe to Meta Horizon+.

To subscribe to Meta Horizon+ from the web:

  1. Log in to the Meta Horizon+ page with your Meta account.
  2. Click Start 1-month trial.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to subscribe to Meta Horizon+.

How to redeem Meta Horizon+ apps

Once you redeem a Meta Horizon+ app, it will be available to download and install in your Library for the duration of your subscription.

To redeem Meta Horizon+ apps from your headset:

  1. Press Meta button or Oculus button on your right controller to open the Navigator.
  2. Select Meta Horizon Store.
  3. Select Horizon+ from the top menu.
  4. Select Redeem next to the Meta Horizon+ app you want to redeem.

To redeem Meta Horizon+ apps from the Meta Horizon mobile app:

  1. On your phone, open the Meta Horizon app.
  2. Tap Menu at the top of your Horizon Feed.
  3. Scroll down and tap Horizon+ below Payment and subscriptions.
  4. Tap Redeem below the Meta Horizon+ app you want to redeem, then tap Redeem again to add it to your Library.

To redeem Meta Horizon+ apps from the web:

  1. Log in to the Meta Horizon+ page with your Meta account.
  2. Click Redeem next to the Meta Horizon+ app you want to redeem.

About XBOX Game Pass

XBOX Game Pass is included with your Meta Horizon+ subscription. It gives you access to a library of more than 50 console and PC games.

To use XBOX Game Pass, link your Meta account to a Microsoft account. Once linked, you can:

  1. Download games on your PC or console from the library and play them on your device with no time limits, as long as they remain in the library. Downloads are subject to Microsoft's device limits.
  2. Stream games with cloud gaming for up to 10 hours per month.
  3. Play cloud and PC multiplayer games.
  4. Stream your own games from a library of supported titles.

The game library changes over time. Titles may be added or removed.

Note: If you cancel Meta Horizon+, you lose access to XBOX Game Pass

How to cancel Meta Horizon+

When you unsubscribe from Meta Horizon+ you will lose access to all previously redeemed titles and will not be able to redeem additional titles. If you resubscribe, you will regain access to all previously redeemed titles as well as the titles that are currently available.

To unsubscribe from Meta Horizon+ from your headset:

  1. Press Meta button or Oculus button on your right controller to open the Navigator.
  2. Select Meta Horizon Store.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Select Horizon +.
  5. Select Manage Subscription.
  6. Select Cancel Subscription.
  7. Select a reason for canceling your subscription, then select Confirm.

To unsubscribe from Meta Horizon+ from the Meta Horizon mobile app:

  1. On your phone, open the Meta Horizon app.
  2. Tap Menu at the top of your Horizon Feed.
  3. Scroll down and tap Horizon+ below Payment and subscriptions.
  4. Tap Manage subscription.
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription.
  6. Select a reason for canceling your subscription, then tap Confirm.

To unsubscribe from Meta Horizon+ from the web:

  1. Log in to the Meta Horizon+ page with your Meta account.
  2. Click Manage subscription.
  3. Click Cancel.
  4. Select a reason for canceling your subscription, then click Confirm.

Note: Meta Horizon+ is intended for Meta Quest devices only and is not supported on Rift devices.
