Parental supervision gives you tools to support your teen between the ages 13-17 (age may vary by region) while they explore Meta Horizon Worlds. If you set up supervision on Meta Quest and your teen has downloaded Worlds, you’ll also have access to supervision for Worlds.
Together, parental supervision in Meta Quest and Worlds lets you:
- Set daily time limits and schedule breaks for Meta Quest and Worlds.
- See, adjust, and lock safety features like voice channel, and personal boundary for your teen.
- See who your teen follows and who follows your teen.
- See which apps your teen has used and how much time they’ve spent in Meta Quest and Worlds in the past 7 days.
- Give permission to allow or block your teen from using apps.
- Access resources about our available safety features.
Your teen can change their voice channel and personal boundary settings anytime unless you lock those settings. When you lock these settings, your teen will need to send a request to change their settings to be less restrictive. Your teen will still be able to change these settings to a setting that is more restrictive at any time.
