Your name for AI, devices and more is not your Meta Horizon profile name or username. Learn how to change your profile name and username.

You can use your name to regain access to your AI, devices and more in the event you lose access. This name isn’t public.

You can manage how you appear to others with your Meta Horizon profile.

Either Accounts Center or Meta Account settings appear as the place to manage your settings. Learn more about updated Meta Accounts.

To change your name for access to AI, devices and more:

  1. Log into Accounts Center.
  2. Click Manage next to your Meta account, then click Change account name.
  3. Make changes to your name, then click Save.

  1. On your phone, open the Meta Horizon app.
  2. Tap Menu at the top of your Horizon Feed.
  3. Tap Accounts Center, then tap Manage accounts.
  4. Tap Manage next to your Meta account, then tap Change account name.
  5. Make changes to your name, then tap Save.
  1. Put on your headset, then press Oculus button / Meta button on your controller to open the Navigator.
  2. Select Settings, then select your profile photo.
  3. Select Accounts Center, then select Manage accounts on the left.
  4. Select Manage next to your Meta account, then select Change account name.
  5. Make changes to your name, then select Save.
