Connect your Meta Quest headset to Wi-Fi
All current Meta Quest headsets require a Wi-Fi connection to use and access most features and content.
Connect to Wi-Fi from your Meta Quest
To connect to Wi-Fi using your headset:
- Press / on your right Touch controller to open the universal menu.
- Select the clock on the left side of the universal menu to open Quick settings.
- Select Settings in the top right, then select Wi-Fi.
- Make sure the toggle for Wi-Fi is turned on.
- Find the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to and select Connect.
- Enter the Wi-Fi password if one is required to finish connecting to Wi-Fi.
Connect to Wi-Fi using the Meta Horizon mobile app
To connect your Meta Quest to Wi-Fi using the Meta Horizon mobile app:
- On your phone, open the Meta Horizon app.
- Tap at the top of your Horizon Feed.
- Tap Devices.
- Select the headset you are currently using.
- Tap Headset settings.
- Tap Wi-Fi, then select the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to and enter the password.
To check the security of your network, you can tap the connected network name to see additional info including what protocol is being used (ex: WPA/WPA2 PSK).
