Differences between Voice Dictation and Voice Commands
Voice Commands and Voice Dictation are two separate services that allow you to use your voice to navigate and control your Meta Quest device:
Voice Commands can be used to perform specific actions such as launching an app or navigating to your settings.
Voice Dictation uses your microphone and speech to type instead of using the keyboard.
We do not store or review recordings or transcripts of dictations you make with the Meta Quest keyboard unless you submit the recordings to us for feedback or have Meta Quest Dictation improvements turned on. Because your Voice Dictation recordings and transcripts are not stored by default, you will not see them in your Voice Command activity log.
