Share photos and videos with Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses

You can share photos and videos you capture with your smart glasses from the Meta View app. Before sharing media, it must first be imported to the app from your glasses. You can also turn on auto-import, which will automatically transfer media you capture from your glasses to the Meta View app. Auto-import is on by default for Android 13 phones and above.
Imported media will be added to your phone’s camera roll. Media in Meta View is presented by accessing your phone’s camera roll with your permission. If you delete media from your camera roll, or revoke permission for Meta View to access your camera roll from your phone’s settings, media will not appear in Meta View.
To manually import media:
You can also use Meta AI to share photos and videos directly to your Messenger, Facebook and Instagram story and WhatsApp or phone’s messaging contact list. When you share using Meta AI you will not be able to preview or edit your media before sharing.
To share media from the Meta View app:
- From the Meta View app, tap
- Tap the capture you want to share.
- Tap Share, then select where you want to share the capture to.
To share using Meta AI:
- From the Meta View app, tap
Settings then tap Communications or select the device to you want to manage settings for, then tap Communications.
- Find the app you want to share to and tap Connect.
Say one of the following phrases to share media using Meta AI:
- "Send a picture to [contact name]."
- "Send a picture to [contact name] on Messenger/WhatsApp/my phone."
- “Send my last picture to [contact name].”
- “Send a video to [contact name] on Messenger/WhatsApp/my phone.”
- “Send a video to [contact name].”
