How to add links to your posts and reels on Instagram with Meta One
Eligible public Instagram accounts with a Meta One subscription can add links to their posts and reels. Teens can't use this feature.
Drive people directly to your website, shop or latest offer by adding a clickable link to your Instagram posts and reels. People can visit the website from your post or reel.
If you subscribe to a Meta One plan, you can add links to a set number of posts and reels each month based on your plan:
- Meta One Advanced plan: up to 4 posts and 4 reels with links per month
- Meta One Expert plan: up to 8 posts and 8 reels with links per month
- Meta One Max plan: up to 12 posts and 12 reels with links per month
Posts and reels have separate monthly allowances. Your limit resets on the date your Meta One subscription renews, and unused links don't carry over to the following month. Learn how to subscribe to Meta One.
Add a link to a post or reel
Create your post or record your reel on Instagram. Before you share, add your link:
- Add a caption (required to add a link).
- Tap Add link. This option shows a Meta One label and how many links you have left (example: "Meta One · 4 links left").
- On the Add link screen, enter or paste the URL.
- Tap Done, then share your post or reel.
Note: You can't edit links after you share your post or reel.
What counts toward your monthly limit
Links you add with Add link count toward your monthly limit. The following don't count toward the limit:
- Links to Meta technologies, including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Threads
- Product links (including affiliate links) that are part of a business's existing commerce catalog on Meta. Learn more about product tags
- Links in ads
Note: Adding a link with Add link is different from Add products, which enables you to tag shopping products or affiliate products from a catalog. You add products and affiliate product links through Add products, and they don't count toward your monthly Add link limit.
