Meta One billing and payments
Meta One is currently in limited testing and isn’t available everywhere yet. The options you see may vary based on your location, account type, and what’s currently available in testing.
This article explains how billing, payments, and cancellations work for Meta One.
Meta One is a paid subscription that gives you a set of premium benefits across Meta technologies, including Instagram and Facebook. You can subscribe through a supported Meta mobile app on iPhone or Android.

Meta One billing cycle and automatic renewal
Meta One renews automatically each month unless you cancel your subscription. You're charged on the same date each month as your original purchase date.
For example, if you subscribed to Meta One on January 15, you're charged again on February 15, March 15, and so on.
Note: If your billing date falls on a day that doesn't exist in a given month (for example, the 31st in a 30-day month), you're charged on the last day of that month instead.
Accepted payment methods for Meta One
The payment methods you can use for Meta One depend on the store where you subscribe:
- Apple App Store (iPhone): See Apple App Store payment methods.
- Google Play Store (Android): See Google Play Store payment methods.
Your Meta One subscription is linked to the platform, device type, and account you used to subscribe. You need to manage billing and payments through the same platform and account.
Update your Meta One payment method
To update the payment method for your Meta One subscription, go to the store where you originally subscribed:
- Apple App Store: Update your payment method through your Apple account.
- Google Play Store: Update your payment method through your Google Play account.
You can also update your payment method from the app you used to subscribe:
Facebook mobile app

- Tap
Menu in the top left.
- Tap Settings & Privacy, then tap Settings.
- Tap Accounts Center.

You must have at least one valid payment method on file to keep your subscription active. Payment method changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
Note: Add a backup payment method to your account. If your default payment fails, your backup method is charged automatically. If you don't have a backup and your payment fails, you may get a short grace period to fix the issue before your subscription is canceled.
View your Meta One payment history
To check your Meta One payment history, including the payment amount, date, and status, go to the store where you originally subscribed:
- Apple App Store: View your payment history in your Apple account.
- Google Play Store: View your payment history in your Google Play account.
Note: Make sure you're signed into the same Apple or Google account you used for your original Meta One purchase. If you use a different account, you won't see your Meta One subscription or payment history.
Meta One free trial
A free trial may be available for first-time Meta One subscribers to try the subscription before being charged.
You're automatically charged the monthly subscription fee when your trial ends. To avoid being charged, cancel before the trial ends.
If you cancel and resubscribe to Meta One before your original trial period ends, your trial picks up where it left off. You won't be charged until the original trial end date.
Note: The free trial may not be available in all regions. Eligibility and availability may change.
Cancel your Meta One subscription
Meta One renews automatically each month unless you cancel. If you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of your billing cycle. After that, you lose access to all Meta One benefits across Facebook and Instagram.
If you purchased Meta One through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, follow that store's cancellation process. To avoid being charged for another billing cycle, cancel your Meta One subscription at least 24 hours before your current billing period ends.
