How to add a link page to your Instagram bio with Meta One

Updated:3 weeks ago

You can add more than 5 links to your bio if you have an eligible Instagram account with a Meta One subscription. Teens can't use this feature.

Your link page in your bio provides a shareable link where people on and off Instagram can find links to your website, shop, other social channels, and latest offers. When someone taps the link in your bio, your link page opens without them leaving Instagram.

Without a subscription, you can add up to 5 links to your bio. If you subscribe to a Meta One plan, you can add up to 20 links, add an image and a title to each one, and share your link page anywhere using its own URL. This feature is available with the Meta One Essential, Meta One Advanced, Meta One Expert and Meta One Max plans. Learn how to subscribe to Meta One.

Add links to your link page

To add a link:

  1. Tap Profile or your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile.
  2. Tap Edit profile.
  3. Tap Links.
  4. Tap Add link.
  5. Enter the URL and a Title for the link.
  6. Tap Done.

Your links appear on your link page in the order you add them. The title is what people see on your link page, so a short description works better than the web address.

Add an image to a link

Images help people recognize where each link goes before they tap it.

  1. Tap Profile or your profile picture in the bottom right, then tap Edit profile.
  2. Tap Links.
  3. Tap Edit next to the link you want to add an image to.
  4. Tap Add image, then choose a photo.
  5. Tap Done.

Note: You'll need to allow Instagram to access your photos to add an image.

Choose a primary link

Your primary link is the one you want people to see first. To set it:

  1. Tap Profile or your profile picture in the bottom right, then tap Edit profile.
  2. Tap Links.
  3. Tap Edit next to the link you want to feature.
  4. Turn on the Show as primary link toggle, then tap Done.

Note: You need at least 2 links to set a primary link.

Edit or remove a link

To change or delete a link you've added:

  1. Tap Profile or your profile picture in the bottom right, then tap Edit profile.
  2. Tap Links.
  3. Tap Edit next to the link you want to change.
  4. Update the URL, Title or image, or tap Remove link to delete it.
  5. Tap Done.

Note: Removing a link doesn't affect the website it pointed to. It only removes it from your link page.

Preview your link page

You can see how your link page looks to other people before you share it.

  1. Tap Profile or your profile picture in the bottom right, then tap Edit profile.
  2. Tap Links.
  3. Tap the Link page tab.
  4. Tap Preview link page.

Share your link page

Your link page has its own URL, so you can send people to it from anywhere, not just from your Instagram bio.

To copy your link page URL from your profile:

  1. Tap Profile or your profile picture in the bottom right, then tap Edit profile.
  2. Tap Links.
  3. Tap the Link page tab.
  4. Tap the copy icon next to Link page URL.

To copy it from your link page:

  1. Tap the link in your bio to open your link page.
  2. Tap ••• More options in the top right.
  3. Tap Copy link to copy your link page URL, or choose where you'd like to share it.

You can add this URL to your other social profiles, your website, your online shop or anywhere else you reach people.

What people see on your link page

When someone opens your link page, it shows your links with the image and title you added to each one. They can tap any link to go to that destination.

Note: Links on your link page need to follow the Community Standards and Terms of Use.
