Troubleshoot Meta One subscription issues

Meta One is currently in limited testing and isn’t available everywhere yet. The options you see may vary based on your location, account type, and what’s currently available in testing.

This article helps you fix common problems with your Meta One subscription, including issues when you subscribe, use benefits, and manage your subscription settings.

Fix problems when you subscribe to Meta One

If you can't subscribe to Meta One or don’t see it as an option, try the steps below.

Can’t find Meta One

If you don’t see Meta One as an option on Facebook or Instagram, it may not be available to you yet. Meta One is in limited testing and isn't available in all locations.

Can’t subscribe to Meta One

If you see Meta One but can't finish the subscription process, try these steps:

  • Check your account type. You need an active personal account with Facebook or Instagram to subscribe to Meta One. Business accounts aren't eligible.
  • Check your device. You can only subscribe to Meta One through Meta’s mobile apps (iPhone or Android). You can’t subscribe from a computer or mobile browser.
  • Update your Meta apps. Make sure you have the latest version of Facebook or Instagram from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  • Try again later. If none of the steps above apply, wait a few minutes and try again. Temporary server issues can sometimes prevent the Meta One subscription process from completing.

If you can't view, update, or cancel your Meta One subscription, try the steps below.

Can't cancel your Meta One subscription

If you can't cancel your Meta One subscription through the app you used to subscribe, you may need to cancel directly through your app store:

  • If you subscribed through the Apple App Store, cancel through your Apple subscription settings on your iPhone.
  • If you subscribed through the Google Play Store, cancel through your Google Play subscription settings on your Android device.

Can't find your Meta One subscription settings

To find your Meta One subscription settings, follow the instructions in Manage your Meta One subscription.

If you don't see your Meta One subscription:

  • Make sure you're logged in to the same account you used when you subscribed to Meta One.
  • Confirm you're signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you used to purchase Meta One.
  • Check that you’re on the same device type (iPhone or Android) you used when you first subscribed.

Note: Your Meta One subscription is linked to the platform, device type, and account you used when you purchased it. You can't view or manage your Meta One subscription from a different platform or account.

Can’t find or access Meta One benefits

If your Meta One benefits don't appear after you subscribe, try these steps:

  • Close and reopen the app to refresh your account.
  • Make sure you're logged in to the account that has the Meta One subscription.
  • Check that you're on a mobile device. Meta One benefits aren't available on computers or in a mobile browser.
  • Check that your Meta One subscription is active.
  • Make sure you have the latest version of the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
