Verified User Reviews
All user reviews on the Meta Quest Store and App Lab are from verified owners of the app.
What is a “verified owner?”
A “verified owner” is someone who has purchased, obtained or redeemed an app through the Quest Store or App Lab, and has used the app. Reviews that are not made by “verified owners” are not published, are only viewable by their authors, and are not factored into the app’s average rating.
How are reviews processed?
Meta publishes all user reviews, whether positive or negative, as long as they are from a verified owner and do not violate our App User Review Policy, or any other applicable terms and policies. For each user-reviewed app, Meta displays an average star rating and the distribution of all star ratings received from published reviews.
By default, reviews are displayed by “Most Relevant”, taking into consideration a variety of factors, such as how many users indicated the review was helpful, how recently the review was published, the author’s time spent in the reviewed app, the review’s length, the review’s compliance with our policies, how close the review’s rating is to the item’s average rating, and the number of reviews in the last 28 days with the same rating. Users may also filter reviews by how recently the review was published or by their star rating.
Text from one or more user reviews for an app may be processed by Meta AI to generate a summary for the app. Such summaries may not be representative of all user reviews, and some may be inaccurate or inappropriate. To learn more about Meta AI click here.
Where we find that a review does not comply with the App User Review Policy, or any other applicable terms or policies, we may take action on the review, including reducing visibility, removing the review’s influence on the overall app rating, or removing the review.
