Voice Dictation Privacy Notice

When you use Voice Dictation, we process a recording of your voice to create a text transcript of what you say. Once we complete the dictation (that is, transcribe your voice to text), we delete the voice recording and transcript. Because your Voice Dictation recordings and transcripts are not stored by Meta, you will not see them in your Activity Log.

You can also enable on-device Voice Dictation in your settings to use this feature without the internet. If you enable on-device Voice Dictation, your voice data will be processed on your device to create a text transcript of what you say. Your voice data will not be recorded or stored.
