VP and Head of GenAI at Meta
Ahmad Al-Dahle is VP and Head of GenAI at Meta. He is responsible for leading the company’s Generative AI efforts on everything from research to product development. Most recently, his team was responsible for the release of Llama 3, Meta’s latest open source generative AI model. His team has also launched a number of consumer offerings, including Meta AI, available across Meta’s family of apps and devices.
Before taking on the Head of GenAI role, Ahmad led Meta’s engineering efforts in XR technologies, developing AI and Machine Perception capabilities that have powered XR/Mobile products. Prior to joining Meta, he spent 16 years at Apple where he held several technology leadership positions.
