Learn the best ways to use your Meta Quest headsets to keep yourself safe in VR
To have the best experience in VR, it’s important to know how to set up your Meta Quest headset and your activity space, and how to prepare yourself for VR. Take time to review the health and safety information for your Meta Quest headset, and make sure that you share it with anyone you let use your Meta Quest headset. *Parents:* Important guidance & safety warnings for children’s use here. Using Meta Quest requires an account and is subject to requirements that include a minimum age of 10 (requirements may vary by country). See meta.com/quest/terms and the parent’s info page at meta.com/quest/parent-info.
Meta Quest headsets are recommended for indoor use. Pick an activity space clear of any objects in your surroundings and keep a clear buffer around your activity space. Use the boundary system and Space Sense (if available). Use Comfort and Content Ratings to help choose the right experiences for you. Read and follow all on-screen prompts, warnings, and instructions. Take regular breaks.
