Meta Horizon+ Adds Five New Games, Plus 50+ Titles With XBOX Game Pass!
Meta Horizon+* offers a huge library of great games you can play whenever you want — and it just got even bigger. We’re teaming up with XBOX to bring a starter edition of XBOX Game Pass** to Meta Horizon+, adding a library of 50+ titles you can play right in your headset.
That’s on top of the catalog of more than 100+ games you can download and play instantly on your Meta Quest headset with your Meta Horizon+ subscription. In August, you can add the unhinged chaos of Wreckin’ Raccoon and the intense mech combat of Iron Rebellion to your Meta Quest library as part of your subscription. And the Meta Horizon+ catalog is expanding with five new titles: I Expect You To Die 2, Elements Divided, Surviving Mars: Pioneer, Stilt, and Beauty Salon Simulator VR.Â
You can download and play all the games in the Meta Horizon+ catalog anytime you want, plus you now get even more titles and cloud gaming with XBOX Game Pass — all for just $7.99 USD per month or $59.99 USD per year. You can even try Meta Horizon+ for a month on us*** to give it a shot.

Gear Up With XBOX Game Pass
Your Meta Horizon+ subscription now includes a starter edition of XBOX Game Pass. That means you get 10 hours of cloud gaming per month, so you can stream games right to your headset, and play them in an XBOX-themed immersive space and on one of four different display sizes — including a 26-foot theater-size screen.
The starter edition Game Pass library has a range of phenomenal titles, from big-time hits such as the Boston-exploring, post-apocalyptic open-world RPG Fallout 4, to indie darlings like the cooperative cooking chaos creator Overcooked 2. You can team up with some friends to explore space rocks as sci-fi dwarven miners in Deep Rock Galactic, or fight to survive and thrive with your friends as shrunken kids trapped in your own backyard in Grounded. Zombies roam the land and they’re not even your biggest threat in the brutal multiplayer world of DayZ, and you can focus on the road and wrangle powerful machines in truck simulator SnowRunner.
With 50+ games at the ready, there’s no shortage of great titles to play. And you’ll soon be able to use your Meta Quest Touch controllers to emulate an XBOX gamepad — so you can soon jump into XBOX Game Pass games and try them without a game pad, or pair one to your headset for a traditional controller experience.
Best of all, XBOX Game Pass is part of your Meta Horizon+ subscription, so you’re good to go. Check out our article on Game Pass coming to Meta Horizon+ for more details, and watch our video on how to link your Meta Horizon+ and XBOX accounts to get started.

Experiences across the spectrum
Wreckin’ Raccoon kicks off the slate of new Meta Horizon+ games this month, putting you in the role of a small, furry troublemaker let loose in a diner. Your goal is to make as much creative mayhem as you can by breaking dishes, messing up the food, and chasing around the cook with various implements of destruction. Just be careful of the animal control officer that might eventually be called to deal with you.
Your hidden gem for August is Iron Rebellion, in which you’ll climb into the cockpit of a giant bipedal mech and take on other players and their huge machines in all-out combat. Iron Rebellion puts you behind the controls as you fight it out in eight-player squads to dominate the battlefield. With six different mech classes to choose from, plus a host of loadout options, you can customize your machine for whatever the battlefield calls for.

Five more games are also joining the Meta Horizon+ catalog. In I Expect You To Die 2, you’ll use your secret agent skills and puzzle-solving prowess to gather intelligence and foil the plans of a diabolical villain. Elements Divided puts the power of the elements in your hands as you control earth, fire, wind, and water in pitched battles against other players, or as a team in co-op. Work to survive the Red Planet in Surviving Mars: Pioneer, where you’ll explore an alien world, gather resources, and build structures.Â
There’s also Stilt, a colorful platformer in which you use spring STILTS to leap high into the air and clear chasms at high speeds, either across a 20-level single-player campaign, or in competition with other players. Finally, Beauty Salon Simulator VR has you running a salon where you’ll work to keep customers happy by doing their makeup and performing manicures and pedicures so they look their best, and then topping it off with some photography to capture your epic looks.

All five games join the huge Meta Horizon+ catalog, which includes favorites like the laser-sword rhythm title Beat Saber and the often-fantastical putt-putt sim Walkabout Mini Golf. And with your subscription, they’re all available to download and play instantly.
