What headphones can I use with Meta Quest 2 or Meta Quest?
You can use headphones with both your Meta Quest and Meta Quest 2 headsets.
Meta Quest 2
Meta Quest 2 supports both 3.5 mm headphones, as well as USB-C headphones. To use standard headphones with a 3.5 mm jack, plug the headphones into the audio port located on the right-hand side of your headset.
To use USB-C headphones with Meta Quest 2 plug the USB cable into the charging port located on the right side of the headset, just behind the standard audio port.
Bear in mind that if you plug in two sets of headphones, only the headphones plugged into the 3.5 mm audio port will work. USB-C headphones also won't work if the Elite strap with battery is plugged in.

Meta Quest supports the use of 3.5 mm headphones. To use standard headphones with a 3.5 mm jack, plug the headphones into either of the audio ports located on both sides of your headset. If your headphones use a dual stereo jack, you can plug that into both ports.
Bear in mind that headset microphones are not currently compatible with either Meta Quest 2 or Meta Quest.
