Opt in or out of a Store PIN for purchases

You can opt in or out of requiring a PIN to complete purchases in the Meta Horizon Store.

Opting out of requiring a PIN to complete purchases in the Meta Horizon Store means you’ll no longer need to enter your PIN when making a purchase from your account. You can always turn this back on.

To opt in or out on the Meta Horizon app:

  1. On your phone, open the Meta Horizon app.
  2. Tap at the top of your Horizon Feed.
  3. Scoll down to Payment and subscriptions, then tap Wallet.
  4. Scroll down to Quick purchase, then use the toggle to make your selection.

Note: If you have PIN purchase protection on, you will need to enter your PIN in order to opt out.

To reset your PIN using the Meta Quest website:

  1. Go to your profile on auth.meta.com.
  2. Click Other Settings in the left menu, then click PIN in the left menu.
  3. Use the toggle below Quick Purchase to make your selection.
