How Meta handles content rated 18+ in Worlds

We require creators to rate worlds and events with content rated 18+. We don’t allow children or teens under the age of 18 to find or enter these worlds. We regularly review and remove worlds that aren’t rated accurately and encourage people to report worlds and events that aren’t rated accurately. Children and teens are also not allowed to publish any worlds rated 18+.

Prior to entering worlds rated 18+, we may ask you to provide an ID for things like confirming your identity, age, or account information. We’re continuing to invest in new and innovative ways to provide people with age-appropriate experiences.
