Meta Warranty Plus protection for AI glasses

Warranty Plus is an extended service contract that provides enhanced protection for your eligible Meta AI glasses. It covers accidental damage, cosmetic issues, and product malfunctions beyond the standard warranty.
Which products are covered?
Warranty Plus is available for the following products purchased in the US via meta.com:
- Ray-Ban Meta Gen 1
- Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2
- Ray-Ban Meta Optics Gen 2
- Meta Ray-Ban Display
- Oakley Meta HSTN
- Oakley Meta Vanguard
- Meta Glasses
Notes:
- Warranty Plus doesn't cover limited edition glasses.
- Prescription lenses are only covered for Ray-Ban Meta Display, Ray-Ban Meta Optics and Meta Glasses.
- Warranty Plus for Meta Glasses can be purchased at the time of device purchase, or standalone after activation (within 60 days) via the Meta Warranty Plus page using the device serial number.
- For Ray-Ban Meta Display glasses, you can also purchase after activation via the QR code in the packaging.
- For all other devices, you must purchase Warranty Plus at the time of device purchase.
What does Meta Warranty Plus cover?
Warranty Plus provides comprehensive coverage, including:
- Product malfunction and manufacturing defects
- Accidental damage (drops, spills, impacts)
- Scratched or chipped lenses or frames
- Cosmetic damage (including normal wear and tear)
- All in-box accessories, including the case

How to purchase Meta Warranty Plus
- Add Warranty Plus when purchasing eligible glasses on meta.com at checkout.
- For Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses, add Warranty Plus after device activation by scanning the QR code in the packaging or visiting the Meta Warranty Plus page. You will need your device's serial number.
- For Meta glasses, add Warranty Plus within 60 days after activation by visiting the Meta Warranty Plus page. You will need your device's serial number.
- You will receive a confirmation email with program details and terms.
How to make a claim
Year 1:
- Luxottica (Ray-Ban/Oakley manufacturer) or Meta (Meta Ray-Ban Display, Meta Glasses) handles product malfunction claims.
- Meta handles accidental damage claims.
Year 2:
- Meta handles all claims (malfunction, accidental, cosmetic), with a service fee for accidental or cosmetic damage.
To submit a claim:
- If your device is covered by Warranty Plus, contact Meta Store Support.
- Have your device details and proof of purchase ready.
Exclusions and cancellation
- Warranty Plus does not cover damage from misuse, neglect, unauthorized repairs, or intentional damage.
- You may cancel your Warranty Plus policy for a full refund within 30 days of purchase, provided no claims have been filed. (This period is extended to 60 days for California residents.)
- After the initial period, you can still cancel your Warranty Plus policy for a pro-rata refund at any time, as long as no claims have been filed.
