Remove a profile from a Meta Quest headset

Up to four profiles can be added to a headset. If you are the main profile and owner of the headset, you can remove profiles from the Meta Horizon mobile app.

To remove a profile from a Meta Quest headset:

  1. From the Meta Horizon mobile app, tap your device in the top left.
  2. Tap Manage profiles.
  3. Select the profile you want to remove.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to finish removing the profile from your headset.

You can also remove a profile from a Meta Quest headset by doing a factory reset. This wipes everything off your headset, and returns it to the software state that it was in when you first took it out of the box. Learn how to perform a factory reset.
