Starting June 9, 2026, Meta Credits are no longer available for purchase in the Meta Horizon Store. Your existing Credits are not affected by this change. You can continue using Credits in the Store and Worlds.

Meta Credits can be used on your headset and mobile device to:

  • Get your favorite VR games, apps and add-ons from the Meta Horizon app store.
  • Customize your avatar with premium avatar clothing or fantastical avatars.
  • Get digital content in your favorite worlds.

Purchasing Meta Credits

Meta Credits can be purchased in Worlds on your headset or mobile device. To purchase Credits, select Meta Credits in Worlds and choose a Credits pack. Complete your purchase using your preferred payment method. Some packs include bonus Credits.

Parents or guardians of children ages 10-12 (age may vary by region) must purchase Meta Credits for their children through a parent-managed Meta account. Optional parental supervision tools are also available for teens ages 13-17. With supervision for teens, you can receive notifications when your teen makes purchases, including Meta Credits. In order for a teen to make a purchase, they need to have a form of payment in their wallet. For more information see Parental Controls for Meta Horizon & Quest | Family Center and Get parents started with supervision.
