Filter content on your teen's Browser

Setting up parental supervision allows you to filter content on your teen's browser.

Both you and your teen need to consent to set up parental supervision, and you can turn the feature off at any time.

To manage your teen’s access to potentially harmful websites:

On your phone, open the Meta Horizon app.
Tap Menu at the top of your Horizon Feed.
Tap Family Center, then tap on your teen’s account.
Scroll down to Apps, then tap See all.
Scroll down the list, then tap Browser.
Scroll down, then tap Content filters to filter for and block access to potentially harmful websites.

To block your teen’s access to the following content categories:

Tap Toggle next to Alcohol & Tobacco to block websites that may sell or promote the use of alcohol or tobacco products.
Tap Toggle next to Dating & Personals to block websites that offer dating services, or focus on connecting people to date.
Tap Toggle next to Drugs to block websites that may sell or promote the use of controlled substances.
Tap Toggle next to Gambling to block websites that host or promote games featuring wagers, bets, or lottery pools.
Tap Toggle next to Hate & Terrorism to block websites that focus on promoting terrorism or hate.
Tap Toggle next to Sexual Content to block websites that may contain sexually explicit content, images or language.
Tap Toggle next to Weapons to block websites that primarily discuss, review, or sell items like hunting knives, guns, rifles or BB guns.

Note: Other apps may allow access to websites not controlled by your content filter settings for Browser. You can manage your teen's access to other apps.
