I've played this game for a couple days now on horizon+. First off it looks really cool and has a lot going on with it that is really fresh, intriguing and works well! It accommodates for your playspace as best it can and has a great world to it. The physics seem to work pretty well too! I love all that, so it has a great foundation. I'm sure playing against others is great! But I'm trying to get in to it and play in my own time to practise against bots...and there is the problem. These elite magical bots! I mean, i selected the easiest option. But these AI opponents are insane even at that difficulty. I have played about 100 games in the last couple days and I haven't been able to win a single one. The frustration has defeated my stubbornness at this point. Not only are the bots good, they are incredible with the best precision and power for every single hit. They just have random glitches occasionally where they are so determined to hit the ball that they end up helping you out. But for the most part, laser focus and they return every hit perfectly. While I'm scrambling around and struggling to react, they are on it! The only way I can hope to make a point against them is if I manage to do a perfect shot in the very corner that glitches them out somehow, or if I do some wild shot that shouldn't really work. I really don't know how people are beating them. I'm no pro, but I set it to easy I thought. Plus, they don't just hit the ball well, they literally contort their arms in some monstrous fashion, spinning their arm around effortlessly or going through their own body! I hit a power shot that bounces off the back wall at such a speed and they look me square in the eye, not checking the ball at all, calmly twist their arm behind their back and bust trough their chest like a xenomorph, matching the ball off the back wall and hitting it accurately back at me! How?! This shows how dangerous the AI uprising will be. Sometimes it throws me off with their expression when they do this and makes me burst out laughing. But I hate it. It's ridiculous. It gets me really mad. I keep telling all the characters to be quiet. Even the coach comes along with a pep talk after a match and I literally say out loud "I don't wanna hear it!" While skipping every conversation. This is such a cool game but the AI is preposterous! You guys need to address this. If you do then I would buy this game straight up! Make it fair. I would encourage friends to buy it, they come round and we play it. But those bots anger me so much. Anyone who manages to beat them, I salute you! But I can't keep playing it with those bots. I'm sorry, I want to support VR games as much as possible, I understand the hard work and everything. I want to leave good reviews. But man. Sorry.
