The World Is Your Instrument with the Full Launch of ‘Beatable,’ Out Now on Meta Quest
We’ve all been there: Whether it’s tapping your foot, drumming on your knee, or banging out a drum solo on the steering wheel, sometimes the music takes over and you have to let it out. Thanks to the team at XR Games, now you can channel that urge into its own game, BEATABLE, which is exiting Early Access for its full launch on Meta Quest today.
BEATABLE is a groundbreaking new rhythm game that combines the energy of great music with Quest’s hand tracking functionality and your own physical-world interactions for an entirely new kind of VR experience. With BEATABLE, you can transform any surface into an instrument by drumming with your hands. No peripherals or extra accessories required!
Early Access was already a great start to the game, and you can read our Q&A with the development team to learn more. With today’s full 1.0 launch, the game’s getting lots of new features:
- Custom song and map editor—players will be able to create, share, and compete on custom tracks, which unlocks endless possibilities and replayability
- Improved visuals and gameplay feedback
- Refined gesture detection to make sure you can stay on the beat every time
With today’s launch, BEATABLE is also getting six new songs, including an anime-inspired pop song by Japanese idol Haruka Kudō and another from Mikee Goodman, lead singer of progressive metal band SikTh.
The best way to understand how transformative of an experience BEATABLEcan be is to play it for yourself. Check it out today on the Meta Horizon Store.
