‘Eye of the Temple’ Launches New Challenges Update

We’ve been delighted by the reception for Eye of the Temple so far. As we approach our third month release anniversary, we’re excited to introduce support for Meta’s Challenges.

As you may know, Eye of the Temple not only offers an intricate interconnected world for you to explore and a number of secrets to discover, it also offers a set of Speedrun Challenges to test your skills and temple-running prowess. These Speedrun Challenges are now integrated with Meta’s Challenges feature, which makes it easy for you to compare to and challenge your friends. We’re offering Meta Challenges support for the five Speedruns Challenges available so far, with more coming later this year.

Create a Challenge

To create a challenge, simply launch the Meta Quest Scoreboard app, click on the Challenges tab, click “Create Challenge,” then select Eye of the Temple.

There you’ll find five Challenge levels to create your Challenge from. Select the level, (optionally) give your challenge a name, and decide if you want it open to the world (public) or make it invite-only.

Once you’ve created your Challenge, you’ll see an empty entry for your score. You can also invite other players and friends by clicking on “Share.”

Simply load the game directly from the challenge by clicking “Play” to access and perform your speedrun. If you’ve already completed a speedrun, the app will automatically submit it to the Challenge as soon as you open it.

We look forward to seeing how crazy fast you all can complete these speedruns. We’ve already seen scores that blow our minds and surpass our best internal runs.
