New VR Shooter ‘Forefront’ Coming This Year from ‘Breachers’ Developer, Featuring Up to 32-Player Battles
The creators of Hyper Dash and Breachers are back once again with another standout VR shooter to sink dozens of hours into online with today’s announcement of Forefront. This latest effort from Triangle Factory is focused on near-future all-out warfare featuring up to 32-player battles, vehicles that span land, sea, and air, as well as massive maps and game-changing destruction. Wishlisting is now live!
In Forefront, you’ll hit the battlefield in the year 2035. Orpiment Renewable Energy (O.R.E.) discovered a near-infinite energy source via a rare mineral, Red Orpiment, and has established a military force to protect its assets. Players will take on the role of mercenaries working with various factions and governments to battle over control of this precious resource. Triangle Factory aims to raise the bar for tactical depth in VR shooters with new weaponry, vehicles, gadgets, and more.
“Forefront is a big evolution for the team at Triangle Factory, as we push the hardware and multiplayer capabilities to the max while preserving the level of gunplay, polish, and quality we’ve become known for,” said Xavier De Coster, Chief Operations Officer of Triangle Factory. “We’re glad to be able to share what we’ve been working on, and are looking forward to welcoming players into the madness that will be Forefront. We hope players will follow along with us, and we look forward to filling the first servers with so many players at once!”

Forefront brings massive-scale warfare to the Quest platform later this year, due out in early access near the end of 2025.
