Meta Horizon Worlds v112 is here! This week, we introduced the Deleted Assets folder in Asset Library to make creation more enjoyable and forgiving. We also tackled a number of bug fixes.

Thank You For Participating in Beta Weekend

We’d like to thank everyone who participated in the Beta Weekend for our upcoming FPS codenamed Titanborne. Whether you jumped into the beta for a single round or played throughout the weekend, your feedback has been invaluable, and we’re thrilled to use it to refine and improve the game. Keep sharing your amazing moments with us, and join the community Discord to stay up to date with the latest Titanborne news. We deeply appreciate your commitment and contribution to this journey.

Introducing the Deleted Assets Folder

Deleting assets is great for organizing, but we’ve heard from creators that, as a non-reversible action, it’s a bit scary since you can’t bring back assets once they’re deleted. We heard your feedback, so we added a Deleted Assets folder. This folder acts as a “holding bay” for deleted assets until you’re ready to delete them permanently. And deleted assets can be restored if needed. All the deleted assets will remain in the Deleted Assets folder until they’re manually erased.

Bug Fixes

General

  • We fixed an issue with times being formatted incorrectly in Leaderboards in certain cases.

Creators

  • We fixed an issue where searching in the Asset Library would cause the search bar to disappear while typing.
  • We fixed a bug where the directional arrow was missing from the spot light gizmo.

Known Issues

General

  • Last Friday (May 26), there was an issue with saving worlds between 3:52 and 4:40 pm PT. If you attempted to save a world during that time, please check to make sure your edits were saved properly.
  • Installing Worlds seems to pause for some people on their desktop. A workaround for this is to uninstall Worlds via the Meta Quest app and then reinstall it.
  • Avatars aren’t being correctly affected by light sources in some worlds.
  • Some Doors are showing an inaccurate population count.
  • Hovering over a Members-Only World card inaccurately shows “World Full” when the world may not be full.
