Meta Horizon Worlds v119 is here! Today’s release includes a number of bug fixes. We’re also sharing an early heads up of an upcoming change that will sync your Meta Horizon and Worlds profiles, letting you update your name in one place and see it reflected across your metaverse experience. Let’s dive in.

Your Meta Horizon Name Is Syncing with Meta Horizon Worlds

Soon, your Meta Horizon and Worlds profiles will share a single name. With this change, making and maintaining connections with others will be easier than ever. Bonus: You’ll be able to update your name or username from either profile at any time. Keep an eye out for a notification in Worlds announcing when this upcoming change will go into effect.

Quality of Life Improvements

General

  • Based on feedback from the Worlds community, we’ve updated how blocking works to better align with the expected experience. When traveling to a world, you can now choose to receive an alert if someone you had previously blocked is in that world and decide if you still want to travel there. Alternatively, you can choose to enter all worlds automatically, regardless of who may already be in the world. When entering a world with someone you’ve blocked, they’ll look like a featureless avatar to you and you won’t be able to hear each other.
