Meta Horizon Worlds v128 Release Notes: RSVP to Watch the Connect Keynote in VR

Meta Horizon Worlds v128 is here! We made some changes to the way your Meta Horizon name displays in your Worlds profile and fixed a few bugs, including an issue impacting leaderboards and quests. We’re T-minus eight days until this year’s Meta Connect, and we look forward to seeing you there!

Meta Horizon Names Will Display in All Worlds Profiles

Starting this week, your Meta Horizon name will display in your Worlds profile. With this change, making and maintaining your connections will be easier than ever. And as an added bonus: You’ll be able to update your name from both profiles at any time. You’ll soon see all Meta Horizon names in Worlds!

Highlighted Bug Fixes

Here are some highlighted bug fixes for this week’s release.

General

• We fixed a bug where the list of people in the Report Person menu would change order, making it hard to report the correct person.
• We fixed a bug where the in-world trigger event would fire when typing on the keyboard in World Chat.
• We addressed a bug that was causing gameplay issues for worlds that leverage quests with leaderboards last week. The games impacted by the level reset issue are back up and running. All levels have been reverted back to what they were prior to September 11. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to capture progress made between then and when we were able to reset the data. We know that isn’t ideal and the downtime isn’t fun—thank you for your patience while we worked through this.

Creators

• We fixed a bug where spawned assets that were updated in the same session would fail to spawn until a world reset.

Select Known Issues

Here are some of the known issues the Worlds team is currently investigating.

General

• During onboarding, the tool tip for the Worlds tab isn’t aligned on top of the Worlds tab and pops up in between the Worlds and rewards tabs.
• Some people are seeing a notification icon in the rewards tab showing that Super Rumble has unclaimed rewards when they have already claimed them.
• Avatars in the menu look like they have a ring of light around their faces.
