Meta Horizon Worlds v151 Release Notes

|
|

Meta Horizon Worlds V151 is here! This week, we are rolling out a test of new capabilities for volunteer moderators, along with a few bug fixes.

Quality of Life Improvements

  • Introducing a limited test of volunteer moderation capabilities: We’re launching a test in a small number of public worlds to provide volunteer moderators with the ability to temporarily mute or remove anyone who’s being disruptive. This test is designed to enhance our existing moderation in Worlds and allow members of the community to help make the experience a positive one for as many people as possible. People should continue to report behavior that violates our Code of Conduct for Virtual Experiences to Meta. Participating volunteers will be over the age of 18 and easily identifiable with the label “Volunteer Moderator'' on their name tag.

Highlighted Bug Fixes

Here are some highlighted bug fixes for this week’s release.

General

  • We adjusted the scale of the “Rec” indicator icon on a person’s profile card (indicating that they are capturing a video) to make it more legible.

Creators

  • Fixed a bug that made it impossible to scroll to the bottom of the debug console if new logs were coming in.

Select Known Issues

Here are some of the known issues the Worlds team is currently investigating.

General

  • Invisible collision spots are sometimes left behind when another player leaves.
  • The Limited Time Quests panel is empty or blank for some people.
  • When looking around, avatars disappear and reappear as they enter and leave the edge of another player's view, even though they are still in view the whole time.

Creators

  • The "when object detaches from player" codeblock doesn't fire in some cases.
