Meta Horizon Worlds v156 Release Notes

Meta Horizon Worlds V156 is here! We’re launching the ability to show off your earned avatar rewards, testing ways to more easily share group photos and videos with the other people in them, and we’ve fixed a few bugs. Let’s dive in!

Show off your rewards!

Share your earned avatar rewards and get the recognition you deserve. After claiming a reward from the quest menu, you can now easily share an image of your Avatar rocking your newly unlocked reward in Worlds. Go ahead and brag about it! We’re exploring ways to expand this feature in the future, so stay tuned.

Quality of Life Improvements

General

• We are testing ways to make it easier to share group photos and videos with the other people captured in them rather than searching for each individual person and sharing with them one-by-one.

Highlighted Bug Fixes

Here are some highlighted bug fixes for this week’s release.

General

• Fixed a bug where changes to an Avatar in Welcome Island resulted in the Avatar standing in a T-pose for a short while.
• We fixed a bug in which some people were unable to share pictures or videos from Worlds to Instagram.

Creators

• Fixed an issue where the user couldn't escape dark focus mode after invalid grouping.
• Fixed an issue with CodeBlock scripts not properly subscribing to events after a simulation restart from the Create menu.

• The Followers panel in the menu is sometimes unable to load properly.
• The Gallery is sometimes unable to load content properly.

• Creation hours don’t always display the correct value.
