Interview: Everything You Need to Know About ‘Super Strike,’ Out Now in Horizon for Quest and Mobile
Get ready to lock and load with Super Strike, the competitive team-based arcade shooter from developer OURO Interactive now available in Meta Horizon. Super Strike is entirely free-to-play and features cross-play support across mobile, desktop, and VR players for seamless, intense action.
Community support and feedback has been at the core of Super Strike’s entire development cycle, so we took some time to chat with Senior Technical Game Designer Dionisio Blanco and Senior Character Designer Natacha Nielsen, all about what it took to bring their vision to life.
Super Strike isn’t the kind of game that’s done once it launches. In fact, you could argue that today’s launch is where the real work on the game begins. As more and more players jump into the chaos, try out all of the power-ups and weapons, and start to unlock new skins and more, the feedback will also start to pour in from all sides. Navigating that feedback and sussing out the best ways to iterate and improve the game will be a key part of the work going forward for OURO.
As you can tell from the interview above, it seems like they’ve got the right idea on how to best serve the game and its community in the coming months to keep it as active and fun as possible.
In fact, the excitement isn’t even contained to just this game. While playing Super Strike, you can earn rewards redeemable in VR-exclusive battle royale shooter POPULATION: ONE as well! Rewards include weapons and even an full character skin.

Now that Super Strike is officially out, you can head over to the game’s page to dive in for yourself. And don’t forget to stop by the game’s growing community Discord server and Horizon community group as well to stay in the loop.
