‘VR Games Showcase’ March 2026 Recap: Every Meta Quest VR Game Announcement

The spring edition of the VR Games Showcase arrived today with an in-depth look at nearly two dozen games, with big updates to beloved favorites, closer looks at huge games, new release dates for anticipated titles, and surprise reveals. There was plenty of new footage to see, so if you missed the show, you can watch it right here or embedded below.

The showcase gave some in-depth looks at the games we’ll be talking about in 2026, including a lengthy, gory deep-dive into the gameplay of The Boys: Trigger Warning, and a new look at the time-manipulating gameplay of Spymaster. We also saw a reveal for four-player heist shooter Payday: Aces High, a brand new VR-only entry into the Payday series, and Compass, an open-world game set in a fantastical landscape in the sky. Between new game reveals, gameplay trailers, and big updates, there’s a whole lot to take in about the future of VR gaming.

Among Us 3D | Schell Games, Innersloth | Update Trailer

Among Us 3D brings all the teamwork and betrayal of the hit flatscreen party game into a new dimension. Players have to work together to repair a spaceship, all while trying to figure out who among them is secretly a sabotaging, teammate-stalking impostor. Schell Games and Innersloth announced Among Us 3D Definitive Edition, which brings together all of Among Us 3D’s DLC and updates into one package — available April 7.

Compass | Trebuchet | Reveal Trailer

Climb and dive through the clouds of an uncharted aerial world in Compass. The open-world piloting adventure tasks you with navigating and exploring floating landscapes as you upgrade your ship and solve puzzles along the way. The VR Games Showcase showed off the first look at Compass, whichis set to release in spring 2026.

Dimensional Double Shift | Owlchemy Labs | Update Trailer

The omni-verse awaits! Dimensional Double Shift is a cooperative multiplayer game that tasks you with pleasing the citizens of various ridiculous dimensions. Announced during the showcase was its newest locale, Sporelando, a muggy suburban swampland full of sentient fungi and bio-mechanical golf carts. You and three friends can take on a host of new, weird tasks in Dimensional Double Shift’s latest dimension, which will be available on April 23.

EXOSHOCK | VRAL Games | Update Trailer

Team up with up to three friends in cooperative shooter EXOSHOCK, where you’ll battle through unpredictable environments against AI that adapts as you fight it. You’ll need to use tactical thinking and work together with your squad to have any chance at victory. We got some new information EXOSHOCK’s release roadmap, including its founders edition, and a new look at the game in motion.

Forefront | Triangle Factory | Update Trailer

Forefront drops you into massive multiplayer shooter battles with as many 32 players, where you can pilot helicopters and drive humvees to attack objectives and opponents with your teammates. Featuring four different character classes and semi-destructable environments, Forefront offers seriously big competition across varied landscapes. A new look at Forefront announced its release from early access on April 23, as well as a new map, Fjord, hitting the game later this week.

One More Delve | ATVR | Gameplay Trailer

Hack, slash, and slice through the dungeons of One More Delve, a cooperative, physics-based dungeon crawler. Explore alone or team up with two other players to fight, loot, and explore the shadowy environs, using a variety of melee weapons to do battle with a host of deadly fiends. One More Delve launches on April 27.

Panoptic II | Team Panoptes | Reveal Trailer

Panopticon II imagines hide-and-seek as a deadly game of cat and mouse. The asymmetrical multiplayer game pits four tiny Challengers against the giant Overseer, which isn’t just searching to find its prey, but intends to roast them with deadly lasers. The showcase gave us a quick look at Panoptic II, with more info to come.

Payday: Aces High | Fast Travel Games | Reveal Trailer

Pull on your mask, grab your bag, and get ready for the intensity to skyrocket. Payday: Aces High lets you plan and execute a daring heist with up to three other players, as you fight the law and combat chaos on your way to escaping with the loot. Aces High is a VR-exclusive entry into the popular heist series and is set to release sometime in 2026.

Primal Rumble | Play XD | Gameplay Trailer

Primal Rumble has players training hilarious animals called Primals to compete against one another in slapstick turn-based combat. You’ll build decks of cards to control your Primals, using more and more ridiculously violent moves. Primal Rumble uses mixed reality to put the battle arena right in the room with you.

Roboquest VR | Flat2VR Studios, RyseUp | Gameplay Trailer

Battle against ruthless machines in roguelite shooter Roboquest VR. You’ll use a ludicrous arsenal of weapons to fight in fast, kinetic battles, where your reflexes are your best weapons. Roboquest VR releases on Meta Quest on May 21, and will have co-op support at launch.

Space Control | MoonMonster Studios | Reveal Trailer

An intergalactic megacorporation has abducted you in Space Control — so you can do manual labor. Take on a variety of jobs, making food, caring for alien babies, and interacting with all sorts of alien gadgets. You can try your hand at interstellar employment when Space Control releases on April 1.

Spymaster | Innerspace | Gameplay Trailer

Plan the perfect missions in Spymaster, and then execute them flawlessly with only seconds to spare. Spymaster is inspired by classic spy and heist movies like Mission: Impossible and Ocean’s Eleven, Spymaster lets you rewind time so you can see every angle as you execute a world-saving mission. Innerspace’s new trailer showed off Spymaster’s gameplay to give a sense of its speedy locomotion and time-manipulating mechanics.

The Amusement | Curvature Games | Gameplay Trailer

In The Amusement, you’ll take on the role of Samantha, who inherits an abandoned amusement park in the 1920s. Venturing through the park, you’ll unlock childhood memories as you make your way through mazes, venture through the ruins of different attractions, and ride the roller coaster. Curvature Games provided a behind-the-scenes look at The Amusement’s approach to locomotion in its new gameplay trailer. It’ll hit the Meta Horizon Store on April 16.

The Boys: Trigger Warning | ARVORE IMMERSIVE GAMES | Gameplay Trailer

Based on the hit Amazon Prime series and developed along with its creators, The Boys: Trigger Warning sees you joining in the war against the superhero-controlling corporation Vought. You’ll use the powerful chemical Compound V to gain temporary superpowers so you can take the battle to the Supes. A new gameplay trailer showed an in-depth look at The Boys: Trigger Version just in time for its release on March 26.

The Lightkeepers | Spectral Games | Gameplay Trailer

Team up with other players to battle the horrific creatures streaming from the seas in The Lightkeepers. By day, you’ll sail to islands to explore and gather resources; by night, you’ll use what you find to defend the lighthouse to preserve its light, to keep the world from falling into darkness. We got a quick new look at The Lightkeepers, alongside a projected release sometime later in 2026.

Trombone Champ: Unflattened | Flat2VR Studio, Holy Wow Studios | Update Trailer

Take up a virtual trombone and toot your way through a huge number of songs in Trombone Champ: Unflattened. You can play through more than 58 tracks and take on a full campaign to test your trombone skills. New music packs are coming to Trombone Champ: Unflattened soon.

VMX | Break Free Interactive | Gameplay Trailer

VMX uses advanced controls and custom physics to capture the feeling of riding BMX, scooters, and MTB in virtual reality. You can ride through dirt tracks and stakeparks, perform tricks, and take on challenges, whether alone or online with friends. VMX is set to release on March 26.

VRacer Hoverbike | Vertex Racers | Update Trailer

Jump on a sci-fi hoverbike and blast through 30 different tracks set across the galaxy in arcade racer VRacer Hoverbike. You can take on as many as six racers online or test your skills in a number of different racing modes. A new trailer at the VR Games Showcase showed off a new update that brings a track editor to the game, as well as a new female rider option.

WRATH: Aeon of Ruin VR - Brutal Edition | Flat2VR Studios, Team Beef | Gameplay Trailer

WRATH: Aeon of Ruin VR - Brutal Edition is an intense and brutal old-school first-person shooter, built in the Quake Engine — the foundation of some of the best shooters in history. Take on hordes of enemies while dual-wielding weapons and using powerful artifacts. Team Beef dropped a new look at WRATH’s gameplay, and gave more info about how the game has been optimized for VR. Look for Wrath: Aeon of Ruin VR - Brutal Edition to hit Meta Quest on April 9.
