Wrapping up Grace Hopper 2016
Today marks the close of this year’s Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing (GHC), a three-day conference presented by the Anita Borg Institute in conjunction with the Association for Computing Machinery.

With a 25% increase in attendance year-over-year, GHC 16 inspired even more people to champion diversity and inclusion in tech. We’re honored to have been a part of this year’s event. Here are a few highlights:

- As part of the GHC 16 Career Fair, Oculus Engineering Manager Sophia Chung and Software Engineer Erin Summers went live on Facebook for a Q&A about working at Oculus.
- Erin Summers led a discussion about VR design and development with Regina Luki (67 Games), Timoni West (Unity 3D), and Siciliana Trevino (Quirkeley) on the Building the Metaverse panel.
- Today, the Women@Oculus panel brought together Oculus leaders Alex Howland (Software Engineer), Charmaine Hung (Technical Program Manager), Skye Lee (Product Design Manager), Sanghee Oh (Design Researcher), Lauren Vegter (Product Manager), and Erin Summers to talk about how they’re shaping the future of VR at Oculus.
