Spatial video on Meta Quest

If you have an iPhone, you can now upload spatial videos to the cloud using the Meta Horizon mobile app for viewing in your Meta Quest headset.

Note: iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max are the only iPhones that can shoot spatial videos.


To upload your spatial videos:

  1. On your phone, open the Meta Horizon app.
  2. Tap Menu at the top of your Horizon Feed.
  3. Tap Gallery.
  4. Tap Upload in the top right-hand corner.
  5. Select Spatial.
  6. Tap the videos that you want to upload, then tap Upload.
    • The Meta Horizon app will notify you when your videos are ready to be viewed on your headset.

Note: Spatial video length is limited to 20 minutes.


To view spatial videos on Meta Quest using Files:

  1. Press Meta button or Oculus button on your right controller to open the Navigator.
  2. Select Library and scroll down.
  3. Select the Files app.
  4. Select Spatial videos from the left menu.
  5. Select the video that you want to view.

To view spatial videos on Meta Quest using Gallery:

  1. Press Meta button or Oculus button on your right controller to open the Navigator.
  2. Select Library and scroll down.
  3. Select the Gallery app.
  4. Using the drop-down at the top-right of the window, select Spatial videos.
  5. Select the video that you want to view.

To view and download synced media from your headset:

  1. From the Navigator, open your app library.
  2. Select the Gallery app.
