Meta Neural Band lets you control Meta Ray-Ban Display by making gestures with your hand. The band works by interpreting the signals created by your muscle activity when you make certain gestures.

Here are the different parts of Meta Neural Band:

  • Button
  • Sensors
  • Compute module
  • LED
  • Line
    • The line is a reference point that helps you wear the band correctly. The line should face you.

How to turn Meta Neural band on or off

  • To turn on Meta Neural Band, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds until the LED slowly flashes white and the band vibrates.
  • To turn off, press and hold the button for 8 seconds, and release when the LED goes dark and the band vibrates.

How to wear Meta Neural Band

The fit of Meta Neural Band is different from other wristbands and watches. In order to function properly, it’s important that you wear the band correctly:

  • Wear on the hand you write with
  • The line on the band faces you
  • Just past your wrist bone
  • Band secured snug and comfortably with the clasp closed
  • The compute module is on top of your wrist

When you wear your band correctly, you can perform gestures with your hand resting by your side or on your lap. You do not need to hold your arm out to have the band interpret your gestures.

If you’re having trouble getting gestures to work with your band, check to make sure you’re wearing the band correctly and that it’s the right size.
