Toggle auto-updates on or off for the Meta AI and Vibes apps

The Meta AI and Vibes apps and websites are not yet available everywhere. If they are available for you, some features may not yet be available in your area.

This article only applies to Android devices with the Meta App Manager installed.

You can choose to keep the Meta AI app up to date automatically.

To toggle automatic updates on or off

  1. In the Meta AI app, tap Menu.
  2. Tap Settings, then tap App info.
  3. Tap App update settings. You’ll be sent to the Meta AI app in your device’s settings.
  4. Tap Auto-update Meta AI to toggle automatic updates on or off.

The app will update using Wi-Fi or mobile data depending on your selection in the App update settings.

To turn all updates on or off, you may also need to change your update settings in the Google Play Store.
