Block a profile on Meta AI and Vibes

The Meta AI and Vibes apps and websites are not yet available everywhere. If they are available for you, some features may not yet be available in your area.

You can block a profile on Meta AI and Vibes apps and websites, so they can’t:

  • View your profile or content.
  • Mention your username.
  • Create new images or vibes including you anymore. Any previous media they created including you will remain on Meta AI and Vibes, but you can choose to delete them at any time on the Meta AI or Vibes app.

If you block a profile on the Meta AI app or website, then this profile will also be blocked on the Vibes app (and vice versa).

To block a profile on Meta AI:

  1. While viewing someone’s vibes or comments, tap their name to go to their profile.
  2. Tap More in the top left, then tap Block.
  3. Tap Block.

You can also go to someone’s profile by searching for them. Tap Menu in the top left, then tap your profile picture. Tap Search to search for a profile.

To unblock a profile on Meta AI:

  1. From the Meta AI app, tap Menu in the top left.
  2. Tap Settings in the bottom left.
  3. Tap Data & privacy.
  4. Tap Blocked profiles.
  5. Tap Unblock next to the profile you want to unblock.

To block a profile on Vibes:

  1. While viewing someone’s vibes or comments, tap their name to go to their profile.
  2. Tap More in the top left, then tap Block.
  3. Tap Block.

To unblock a profile on Vibes:

  1. In the Vibes app, tap Profile in the bottom right.
  2. Tap Settings in the top right.
  3. Tap Data & privacy.
  4. Tap Blocked profiles.
  5. Tap Unblock next to the profile you want to unblock.

To block a profile on Meta AI:

  1. While viewing someone’s vibes or comments, click their name to go to their profile.
  2. Click More in the top right, then click Block.
  3. Click Block.

You can also go to someone’s profile by searching for them. Click your profile picture in the lower left, then click View profile. Click Search in the top right to search for a profile. You may need to click Menu in the top left to see your profile picture.

To unblock a profile on Meta AI:

  1. From www.meta.ai, click your profile picture in the lower left.
    • You may need to click Menu in the top left to see your profile picture.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click Data & privacy.
  4. Click Manage your information.
  5. Click Blocked profiles.
  6. Click Unblock next to the profile you want to unblock.

To block a profile on Meta AI:

  1. While viewing someone’s vibes or comments, tap their name to go to their profile.
  2. Tap More in the top right, then tap Block.
  3. Tap Block.

You can also go to someone’s profile by searching for them. Tap Menu in the top left. Tap your profile picture, then tap View Profile. Tap Search in the top right to search for a profile.

To unblock a profile on Meta AI:

  1. From www.meta.ai, tap Menu in the top left.
  2. Tap your profile picture in the lower left.
  3. Tap Settings, then tap Data & privacy.
  4. Tap Manage your information.
  5. Tap Blocked profiles.
  6. Tap Unblock next to the profile you want to unblock.
