Customize Quest 3 facial interface and head strap

Express yourself in bold color and stay comfortable in Meta Quest 3 with the Meta Quest 3 Facial Interface and Head Strap, available in Elemental Blue and Blood Orange. The fabric facial interface provides breathable cushioning while blocking out unwanted light, and the color-matched, flexible head strap fully adjusts to fit most head sizes for added support.

Meta Quest 3 Facial Interface and Head Strap in select colors are available in the Meta Store and at select retailers.

To install the Meta Quest 3 Facial Interface and Head Strap:

  1. Gently remove the facial interface that came with the headset by unsnapping it from the headset.
  2. Detach the existing head strap arms by using a slight twist downward to unsnap from the headset arms.
  3. Next, unfasten the top strap and remove it from the bracket on top of the headset.
  4. Attach the colored Head Strap arms to the arms of the headset. You should feel and hear a snap indicating the arms are attached.
  5. Thread the colored Head Strap top strap through the front bracket to attach it.
  6. Finally, insert the colored Facial Interface by snapping it into place.

Notes:

  • The color facial interfaces have built-in glasses spacing adjustment. They're the same design as the facial interface that comes with your Meta Quest 3.
  • The Elemental Blue and Blood Orange facial interfaces are compatible with Meta Quest 3 Elite Straps. The color straps and Meta Quest Elite Strap cannot be used simultaneously with your Quest 3 headset.
  • External light may filter into the sides of the Blood Orange Facial Interface if used in bright environments.
