How to remove yourself as an admin for members-only worlds in Worlds
Members-only worlds are membership-based communities where like-minded people can come together and enjoy a shared experience. In order to join a members-only world, you must be sent an invite by a member of the world, or you must request to join a world and have your request approved by a creator or admin.
At any point after accepting an invitation to be an admin of a members-only world, if you no longer want to perform this role or be responsible for moderation in the world, we recommend letting the world creator know before you update your role in the world.
To remove yourself as an admin from a members-only world:
- From Worlds, press
Menu button on your left Touch controller.
- Select Manage People, then select the image of your own avatar
- Select Change Role.
- Select the box next to Moderator.
- Confirm your role change.
Once confirmed, the world creator will receive a notification that your role has changed. You will then remain a member of the world, however, any moderating responsibilities and access to admin safety tools will be removed.
