How to use an invite code in Worlds

You can generate and share invite codes while in a world instance or after creating an invite-only instance. This code will remain active as long as you remain in the instance.

Keep in mind, you can't generate a code in Welcome Island, members-only worlds, or Personal Space. If you're unable to generate an invite code, try traveling to a public world.

To generate and share an invite code on Meta Quest:

  1. Press Menu button on your left Touch controller to open the Worlds menu.
  2. Select Invite.
  3. Select the person you want to invite.
  4. Select Send invites or Share invite. link.
  5. If you selected Send invites, you will see a confirmation notification that an invite has been sent to the person/s you selected.
  6. If you selected Share invite link, select a platform on which to share from the list of platforms presented.
  7. Follow the displayed steps for the selected platform.

To enter an invite code:

  1. Press Menu button on your left Touch controller to open the Worlds menu.
  2. Select Invite or join in the bottom right.
  3. Enter the invite code, then select Join.
