Overall, the app does what it’s promised. you can sit in vr and watch youtube videos with friends. the quality is good and the interface is reasonable. there are some things I would like to mention:
1. Bug - Volume resets after every play. the slider itself stay in the same position but the volume just shoots up everytime - Super annoying when trying to have a conversation with music in the backgroud.
2. Bug - some video links are not clickable, especially music video link on the side.
3. Bug - slight delay in sound/video between users - really mess up group singalong.
4. Missing feature - there is no way in game to know the maximum capacity of each room. could be nice to have a small 01/04 potatos indicator on top.
5. Missing feature - moving around and speatial audio. I know the main purpose of the app is to watch videos but it would be nice to “get up and move around”. there is no way to switch place without physically getting up and moving.
6. Missing Feature - Private instances - I know there are currently 10k rooms (0000-9999) but random users tend to “room hop” and show up in the room I hang out with friends. would be nice to have the ability to control if the room is “Open” or “Closed”.
7. Missing Feature - More environments! it would be great if the room master could change environment. the beach is nice but we would like to see some more :)
8. Annoying - clicking on the globe in the sky kicks you out of the app without any warning and send you to the store. a small warning & info popup would be nice.
